A gostilna on Linhart Square, in the heart of Radovljica's medieval old town, with a back terrace perched above the Sava valley — views over the Jelovica plateau and, on clear days, the Julian Alps. Generous, well-executed traditional Slovenian cooking: goveja juha (beef noodle soup), homemade štruklji, game and fish. I had lunch here in August 2026 during my Bled-Bohinj-Pokljuka bike trip: the venison fillet in cranberry sauce with roast potatoes and štrukelj (€33, from the house specialities menu) alone justifies the detour into the old town.
Specialties
Patrick's Tip
Ask for the back terrace — it hangs right over the Sava valley. And if the venison fillet in cranberry sauce is on the house specialities menu, look no further.
